Hardships aren’t the hardest to go through — the real struggle is standing tall against them, holding on to perseverance as you build yourself. Be your own reference point, and you are already on the way. People often let go of ego for their sovereignty so why judge yourself, when in truth we all wear masks in the grand cosplay of life? We are only pieces in the vast puzzle of humanity: bound by dependency, stumbling in carelessness, lost in situations, yet still existing with meaning. I have made the mistake of holding on to core memories in the wrong way — cherishing them as pain instead of lessons. Perhaps God, in His justice, watches me suffer for it.
"I am the crow in a field of pigeons. But maybe I am not the clever one — just another soul trapped in the race of trust and pain. If death is marked as justice, then may God mourn for the living, for they carry more weight than the dead."
